Everhollow is the passion project and baby of Australian artist/writer Daniel(le) Penrose Geneste. Started originally as a fanwork, Everhollow was reworked and redone a hundred times over to become the series it is today.
Everhollow is a mixed media webcomic set in the eponymous village of Everhollow, a small village separated from the rest of the world by a forest so tall you can't tell where the trees end and the sky begins. The only way in is to find yourself drawn to the call of the forest, and as far as anyone knows there is no way out.
The series follows Pluto King, a lone wanderer with short term memory loss who finds himself called to the Hollow, he befriends Eunji Hammond-Young, a caretaking hyperactive girl who is both nosy and supportive, and Amari Webb, who is withdrawn and curt, only fond of her flowers and her best friend. When strange occurrences begin and a local girl Yanara starts to disappear into the forest for days at a time the three friends have to work together to uncover the mystery of the forest and the past of Everhollow.
While the comic is being made, I, Dan, also known as The Author, am working on making this website still interesting and I’m hoping to give an opportunity for people to get to know the world and characters as I build them, if this sounds at all interesting to you then consider following me on my socials and following the updates to this site so you can watch this series grow.
